This Cancellation Policy applies to every order placed at velvetandwhisker.com. The store is operated by Liart Sustainable LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Jersey, United States, trading as Velvet & Whisker.
Before you approve the proof
Nothing is printed until you approve your artwork. Write to [email protected] with your order number at any time before you approve the proof and we will cancel the order in full, at no cost.
After you approve the proof
Approval sends the piece into production, where it is printed for you alone and cannot be returned to stock, so the order can no longer be cancelled. Because the piece is personalised, it also cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind after that point. What is still covered: if the item arrives damaged or faulty, does not match the proof you approved, is the wrong item, or never arrives, our Return and Refund Policy replaces or refunds it in full for 30 days after delivery.
Changing an order
Before you approve the proof we can change the artwork, the product, the size, the colour or the delivery address at no cost — that is what the two included refinement rounds are for. After approval we can still change the delivery address while the parcel is with our print partner.
Orders we cancel
We may cancel an order and refund it in full when the photograph cannot be painted well and you would rather not send another, when a listing or price error comes to light before production, when our print partner cannot deliver to your address, or when a payment cannot be verified. We write to you before we do.
How the money comes back
Refunds are returned to the original payment method, in full, within 5 business days of the cancellation being confirmed. Card payments are processed and refunded through Stripe. Your bank typically posts the refund within a further 5 to 10 business days.
Recurring payments
We do not sell subscriptions, memberships or recurring plans. There is nothing to cancel beyond an individual order.
